ADOS-2 i DIVA-5.
In English:
I'm a psychologist specializing in neurodivergence, primarily Autism and ADHD. I assess and support children from the age of 4, teenagers and adults. I help parents understand what is going on with their child, and help adults find an explanation for difficulties they have lived with for years.
Parents come to me when their child is struggling at school, with peers or with emotions. Adults come when they have long felt that everyday life takes more effort for them than for others. Many adults spend years hiding their difficulties and assuming everyone feels the same way.
An assessment takes several sessions and usually begins with an initial consultation. I use standardized tools, including ADOS-2 and DIVA-5. For adult Autism assessments I use the ACIA (Autism Clinical Interview for Adults), and I am the only specialist in the Opole region to do so. It helps capture masking and the presentation of Autism typical in women. When needed, I also administer the Stanford-Binet 5 intelligence test, which highlights strengths and helps explain the causes of learning difficulties.
I also look at what else could explain similar symptoms, because difficulties with focus, organization or emotions don't always come from ADHD or Autism. I'm interested not only in whether the diagnostic criteria are met, but also in how a person functions at home, at school, at work and in relationships.
Every assessment ends with a clear, well-organized written report with practical recommendations. Even the first session ends with a clear summary: what we know, what is still worth exploring, and what the next step is. That may be further assessment, parent consultations, therapy or a referral to another specialist.
I earned my master's degree in psychology at the University of Opole. I continue to train in ADHD and Autism, steadily expanding my range of skills and diagnostic tools. I follow current research closely and share the key findings every week on Instagram in my Polish-language series NeuroNowinki.
I see clients in Opole, at ul. Telesfora 2/11. Consultations for adults and parents are also available online. I conduct sessions in both Polish and English.
